Waiting for pick up day
Buying a new family member should NOT be a stressful experience but should be a joyous one. We will do everything to make this a reality for your family. Please know that every aspect of our program is to protect your baby. We work with all of our families to match our puppies according to sex, size, personality. For the protection of ourselves and the puppies, we do not allow in home visitation but will send weekly photos and videos. We also can do Facetime. We will be in communication throughout the process. When pick up day arrives, we ask that all new puppy family members wear a mask if you or anyone in your household has a cold or cough, flu etc. once arriving at our home. Our process is to explain everything to you regarding care, vaccines, puppy belongings etc. bring out mom and dad, and then bring puppy out last. Although we realize the anticipation is exceptionally high to see your new baby, we do it in this order because once you see him/her you won't hear a word were saying. This is an emotional time for the new owner and we want to ensure it is a moment you will not forget! Your new baby is worth the wait, we promise!
What makes Chikito's Yorkies different?
For any families out of state we hand deliver all our babies unless you are flying here/BWI airport. Our babies literally go from our hands to yours. We do our due diligence by health testing our adults to ensure they are negative for health issues that plague the Yorkshire Terrier breed prior to placing them into our program. This enables us to give a health guarantee. We want your baby to live a long full life. We furnish a contract to you when the puppy is reserved. All puppies come with age-appropriate deworming’s and vaccinations. Please note there are times when vaccinations are delayed by a week or two due to the size of the puppy, it is important to put the health and safety of our puppies as the number one priority. We work with your baby from day one with ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) Puppy Socialization Starts with the Breeder: Early Neurological Stimulation – American Kennel Club (akc.org) We pee pad train all puppies from the time they're walking and work on corrective behavior and socialization skills to assist with an easy transition to your home. We work very hard to ensure an easy transition from our home to yours and will give you all the training tools you will need to be succesful.
